This service does NOT replace the need to call an ambulance in an emergency. It is only to be used for first aid incidents, non-acute illnesses or general enquiries relative to medicines, first aid or child health.
The on-call medic will answer your telephone call as soon as possible in a timely manner, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by volume of calls, signal availability (if medic is mobile) or problems outside of our control.
If a query cannot be fully answered at the time of the call, a ring-back will be made by the medic when all the information required has been gathered.
You must inform us at least 30 days prior to the date on which you will be using this service. This will help us plan ahead for expected call volume.
We will accept no responsibility for any advice given that is incorrectly adhered to.
